Hello u/KingKaos420-, I have detected that you may be asking if you should play or buy a certain DLC or are requesting comparisons of DLC. Please take some time to look at >this thread< (Descent/All dragon age dlc) and >this thread< (Trespasser) full of reviews that our members have made regarding all the DLC of the Dragon Age games, thank you!
For companions in other games, see Companion. The companions in Dragon Age: Origins are the people who accompany the Warden on their journey. The Warden can make decisions which will result in a companion leaving, or even dying. If a companion leaves the Warden or dies, their equipment will be lost. Approval plays an important part in companion interaction. It changes based on plot decisions
P.P.S. after you deal with Teagan to go grab the mage's help, you can also complete a bunch of board/side/companion quests before going to the tower !! For me my recommended is go Lothering, Stone Prisoner, Mages, Redcliffe, Ostagar, Brecillian, Wardens Keep, Ashes, Denerim, Orzammar, Landsmeet. It was a good time.
Origins DLC order I have the ultimate edition of Origins and it comes with all the DLC. Should I wait to finish the main storyline before doing all the DLC missions, or is there a certain order I should complete them in?
Definitely. The social interactions aspect of the games and character development are very similar. For someone not already a fan of Dragon Age specifically, I'd recommend starting with Dragon Age 2 or Inquisition, as the combat mechanics of Origins are a bit clunky and can be a turn off for new players, but the character stories are still top
Leliana's Song, Awakening, Warden's Keep, Return to Ostagar, Golems of Amgarrak, Witch Hunt, Feastday Gifts/Pranks, and The Blood Dragon Armor all seemingly are incompatible with the backwards compatible version of DA:O. I have all of the DLC downloaded onto my X1, except the Blood Dragon Armor which says it's unavailable.
