Ive got a factory-installed RNS-E with bluetooth in my B7. The RNS-E works fine, but the for the past two weeks, it is reporting No Telephone Available. It also started running down the battery at the same time, and I suspect it's a faulty bluetooth unit. Now, I know the bluetooth module is buried under the passenger seat.

Tipthe front of the battery UP slightly (the side of the battery closest to the front of the car). As you tip the battery up, slide it toward the front of the car slightly to disengage the rear of the battery
Thismake sure the power it routed via the battery management controller. The key is simply removed my pressing the little recessed button on the outer ring of the ignition barrel. This needs to be pressed with a very small screwdriver / tooth pick etc etc. When this is pressed, the key can be rotated and removed.
