Per FORD's diagrams the Exhaust Pressure Transducer (EPT) "B40","C705" sensor is a variable capacitor). (Unless I'm just misinterpreting automotive electronic symbols - I don't believe so.) Pin 1 on EPT, YE/BU, goes to Pin 90 Powertrain Control Module (PCM), YE
DPF Problem and diesel in sump. A few months ago I had a new DPF fitted by a local exhaust centre - not a genuine Ford item but from a reputable motor factor. A few weeks after it was fitted the car started doing frequent regens (about every second run!) and that was followed by a 'Service Oil' warning and eventually an 'Engine Malfunction
The PCM registers the P2459 code when it detects that the exhaust pressure didn’t hit the right level or if the passive regeneration process didn’t follow the programmed frequency. The P2459 code can be caused by a bad DPF pressure sensor, a restricted DPF or exhaust system, accumulated soot, circuit problems, or an issue with the PCM.
Ford Focus - Differential Pressure Values - bigshorty40. I use Forscan which measures 'differential pressure on particulate filter' (DP_DPF) in kPa. To measure a regen I use a combination of EGT sensor readings (PPFT) and 'distance since last regeneration trial' (DIST_REGEN) which resets itself to 0.0km once a regen has been acheived.
The manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor, located in the intake manifold of the 6.7 Powerstroke engine, measures the pressure inside the manifold. This sensor plays a crucial role in optimizing engine performance by providing data on intake air pressure. The ECU utilizes this information to adjust fuel delivery and control the turbocharger
Unless it’s changed, you will have 2 pressure reference points. One before and one after. Those are the two stainless lines that go back to the differential pressure transmitter. Would be a black box (Bosch) with 2 rubber hoses that are attached to the low and high side stainless lines from your DPF Was mounted on the passenger side of my 68rfe
